Y12 attend the launch of the LEAD programme at the London School of Economics
A group of ambitious Year 12 students recently attended the launch of the LEAD programme at the London School of Economics (LSE), a unique initiative designed to empower young women to excel in leadership roles. Organized by the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) and LSE, the programme offers students an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, develop critical thinking, and engage with real-world challenges alongside peers from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout the launch event, students participated in workshops and discussions led by esteemed LSE staff and industry leaders, gaining insights into the pathways to effective leadership. The LEAD programme aims to inspire the next generation of female leaders, equipping them with the tools and confidence to make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond. This experience not only broadened their perspectives but also fostered connections that will last well into their futures.
