Highly regarded by top universities, we run the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The EPQ holds UCAS tariff points, often leading to reduced offers and helps you to build the skills you need for degree-level study. You have complete freedom to choose your own project, with one-to-one support and guidance from a personal supervisor.

The EPQ is an extension to our personalised Sixth Form curriculum, and girls produce some fantastically unique, creative projects. Previous examples have included writing a novel, building a car engine, analysing the biggest threats to the Great Barrier Reef and compiling a report on whether the NHS should provide acupuncture as a treatment for migraine.

Through the EPQ you will gain the skills to successfully research, execute and present a degree-style piece of work before you even get to university, giving you a head start when applying for a competitive course.
