Christmas came early to Sutton High last weekend when the SHSA hosted their winter fair, raising over £5000 in the process!
From inflatable assault courses to Santa’s grotto and from badge-making to the hugely popular lucky dip tombola there was something to suit very taste. Our thanks go out to all of the SHSA, the parent volunteers and pupils who took time to donate or create their donations as well as our tireless Chartwells staff, Ceylon Curry Hut and Braai BBQ for their delicious waffles, pizza slices, curries and BBQ food.
The funds raised from this event will facilitate the purchase of a much anticipated life-sized 3D elements table for the Sutton High Science department.
Beth Dawson, Head, said “What a fantastic event last Saturday’s winter fair was. We are over the moon and very grateful to the Sutton High community and the SHSA for their generosity. Thank you to everyone for giving up their time too. We can’t wait for the girls to see the new scientific elements table in the science department.”
As a token of gratitude both Mrs Dawson and Prep Head, Ms Musgrove, welcomed all of the parent volunteers back to school this week for a thank you breakfast.
