Y7 and Y8 Enrichment – “Kaleidoscope”
In the first half-term, you will explore the teenage brain and friendships. This is called ‘My Place’ and involves research into who you are and where you fit into ‘My Place’ – our school and the local area. This first half term is delivered by the Senior School Leadership Group staff, so pupils get to meet the team.
After the project, you will start on a range of practical options, to give you the chance to develop new skills and talents. These options will be in groups with other girls from across Year 7 and are refreshed and updated when necessary.

In Year 8 Kaleidoscope, you will undertake four compulsory units, and then have a choice of two others. These cover a range of skills and are focused on ensuring that you are future-ready! You get to select your optional activities, and a reserve choice, at the start of Year 8. These optional units are refreshed every year, with very popular options carried through where possible.
