Imaan takes Gold, Silver AND Bronze in British Transplant Games
This summer, Imaan G in Year 8 competed in the British Transplant Games in Nottingham, which is a national sporting event for all individuals who have received a lifesaving organ transplant or donated an organ. It also brings together families from all over the country who have been on this incredible and mostly difficult journey with their loved ones. This year over 1,500 adults and children took part, with more than 1,700 supporters. Imaan competed in numerous events in which she won Gold for the 3km Walk, silver in table tennis and bronze in badminton. She also completed the 3km organ donor run. In addition, Imaan was awarded the ‘rising star’ award by Evelina Children’s Hospital.
