Our Amazing School Trip to the Rhineland in Germany by Aarabi A  8TL

On Thursday, October 17th, my classmates and I set off on an early adventure! We left Sutton High School at 3:00 AM and were at London Heathrow by 4:00 AM. We had a very short flight to Cologne, Germany, and immediately after landing, we began sightseeing around the city. We started off by going up in the Cologne Cable Car and enjoyed some fabulous views over the city, and then off the amazing cathedral, followed by lunch at the Hard Rock Café. In the afternoon, we went to the Cologne Chocolate Museum-free samples, of course, the best part! Then we left for our hotel where we had dinner.

The next morning, Friday, we headed towards Boppard for the chairlift ride with breathtaking views over the Rhine. Then off to Koblenz to have lunch at the Deutsches Eck, where the Rhine meets the Moselle, followed by a panoramic river cruise in Cochem and walk around the cobbled streets of the old town; the views were incredible, of castles and vineyards!

On Saturday, we took a leisurely cruise along the Rhine River and spent free time in Rüdesheim, then explored the incredible Marksburg Castle. The evening was capped off with a fun bowling outing to Koblenz.

On Sunday, it was a brilliant day at Phantasialand, which is full of fun rides. After the tiring day, in the evening we flew back and reached Sutton High just before midnight. It was an unforgettable trip that had many laughs and adventures with great memories.
