In the summer this year, Leia P (Y5) was shortlisted for a Rising Star Award in the Non Profit Category by We are the City, for the work she does fundraising for various charities. Leia went on to win the Public Vote Award and received her trophy at The Londoner Hotel after school broke for Summer. She had an amazing experience, speaking with the CEO of We are the City and meeting several inspirational women and award winners at the evening reception. Testament to the hard work of the teaching staff at school and the focus on stage presence from nursery age, Leia confidently walked up on stage alone in front of a few hundred people to collect her award.
