World Book Day 2024 takes place in Prep

For World Book Day this year, we welcomed author and illustrator Sophy Henn to the Prep School. Sophy is not only a fantastic writer but a truly inspiring illustrator and every year group was able to meet her and take part in a drawing activity, based on one of her books. Sophy was so interesting to listen to and she gave all the girls some invaluable advice and tips on how to begin their own journeys as authors. Hopefully we will see Sophy in the Prep School again soon!

Year 2 have sent in some of their amazing drawings, based on Sophy’s character ‘Bad Nana’! As Sophy said, all the drawings have their own unique style and this was something that she was really passionate about. We thought it matched up really well, with our Sutton High motto, ‘Be You!’.
