Young writer Kseniya recognised in catastrophe-themed short story competition

Our Year 7 Kseniya has been awarded a Merit award in a young writers catastrophe-themed short story competition.

Her 100 word entry to the Young Writers Awards was a dystopian short story called “The Extreme Pandemic of Laughing.

“HAHAHAHA!” and that was the only sound that could be heard in the whole entire town! People were screaming and lying on the floor, which looked as though they were little babies having a big tantrum after not getting a sweetie they really wanted from their dear mother. The scared news reporter was standing in the middle of all this chaos and trying hard not to laugh as then he would immediately catch the illness. The whole entire town didn’t know what to do and so did the rest of the world…
